11 minutes of pure gold! This past Saturday, The Mighty Lions Marching Band journeyed to Monroe, LA to compete in the Battle of the Bands at Carroll High School. We brought home accolades, but more importantly, everyone got to see just how gifted BTW Lions are! Check out the footage on YouTube!

Terrific Tuesday Lions! Some times were had last week! Our Halloween Mental Health Fair exposed students to resources to support their mental health journeys. Our Academic Pep Rally celebrating student achievement was also a surprise birthday party for Mrs. Barnes! Mrs. Chloe Duplessis visited with her traveling art show and shared wisdom about the Black experience. This is the LOVE that The Den is about. 🤍 #WhatsBetterThanALion?

Our Allied Health Students who are a part of the Willis Knighton/Caddo Health Occupations Partnership, experienced a full day of hands on activities today. Can I say WHO’S prouder than we are? Our students have the opportunity to partner with Willis Knighton to receive hands on experience in the medical field in several different areas. We are thankful for the support of Caddo Parish School District, our Principal Crystal Barnes and the vision of Dr. Matthew Mitchell along with Willis Knighton Coordinator, Ms. Mallory Gaston. Thank you scholars for showing that LION pride!
