Perot Science Museum

Talent Show
We are searching for the brightest, best, and most talented students for "Star Search," the CMM Talent Show. If you have a special talent that you want to show off and potentially win a special prize please sign up to audition for the Talent Show.

Junior Theater Festival
CMM Students Annasyn Burlison, Cooper Wallace, Miles Mainiero, Belle St. Amant, Morgan Meyer, Riya Koticha, and Millie Oakes competed at the Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta, Georgia on January 12th with Stage Center School of Performing Arts. They won Excellence in Dance for their presentation of Disney's Moana, Jr. Annasyn Burlison and Morgan Meyer were selected as All-Stars during the adjudication for their performances as Moana and Tamatoa, respectively.
Spelling Bee
The Spelling Bee is today at 3:45 pm in the PAC. Please be picked up by 5:00. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
LASC STATE CONVENTION
We have a big shout-out to our CMM Student Council. Over MLK weekend a select group of the members of student council competed at the LASC State Convention. These students competed against other Louisiana middle schools all over the state. They won the following honors:
• Double Gold Star Student Council
• Lilly Calhoun won 2nd in the Essay Contest
• Giana Gipson won 2nd in the Oratory Contest
•Piper Ardoin won 1st in the Photography contest
•Lilly Calhoun and Addie Smith ran for and received District 9 Host for next year.
