Seventh-grade Caddo Middle Magnet student Sahil Thorat finished strong in the 2022 Scripp's National Spelling Bee. Thorat finished 49th in the fourth round out of 234 national and global spellers in the competition.
LSUS sponsored Thorat and his mother to attend the competition in Washington D.C.
