Book Fair
This morning is the last opportunity to shop at the Book Fair and make donations to purchase books for Shriners Hospital. If you have money to make a purchase, please come to the library at this time.
Food Drive
Remember we are in the middle of our canned food drive benefiting the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana! The food drive ends on Friday, November 18. Collection bins can be found in front of the office and near the gym. The homeroom class in each grade with the most donations per student wins a donut party! Go to cmm.caddoschools.com for suggested items. Homeroom teachers, please keep a count of the cans collected by your class. A Google Form will be sent out on the 18th to determine totals.
Film Prize, Jr.
Film Prize Junior applications closes today. Video and writing samples are due tomorrow send as an e-mail to Ms. Tucker.
Basketball
Students and faculty come support your boys' and girls' Stallion basketball teams this week. Wednesday, Nov. 16th the Stallions take on Mansfield Middle School starting with the 6th-grade boys at 5 pm, girls at 6 pm, and 7th/8th boys at 7 pm. Thursday, Nov. 17th we will take on North DeSoto Middle School with 6th-grade girls at 5 pm and 8th-grade girls at 6 pm. Friday, Nov. 18th we will play Greenoaks Middle School with 6th-grade boys at 5 pm, girls 6 pm and 7th/8th boys at 7 pm. CMM Faculty is free and students are $5. The 25th student to enter the game will win a free drink and a bag of popcorn. Tickets can be purchased thru locallevelevents.com Go Stallions
And speaking of those Lady Stallions, last night they pulled off a tough 34-31 win over Linwood Middle to go 2-0 in the league and 5-2 overall. Kinsley Kimbrel was awarded player of the game. Attend the games to see who will be awarded next. These girls are exciting to watch. Go Lady Stallions!!!!
