Our 1st graders are in the midst of the unit Duck for President. They are hard at work learning vocabulary that centers around elections. The students participated in a mock election voting on their favorite cookie using a ballot. Then, Mrs. Oliver's dad, Senator Milligan, came to speak to the children and share a book with them. What a wonderful experience!
