Hello Parents and Guardians of Herndon Magnet School Students, this is Tom Thomas, Principal of Herndon Magnet School with Herndon Highlights for the week of May 8, 2023.
• On Wednesday, May 10, students in grades 3-8 will have a street clothes day for Boosterthon. On Thursday, May 11, students in K-2 will have street clothes for Boosterthon. All clothes must meet CPSB Dress Code Policy.
• Make sure to purchase all Field Day and AAGD tickets on Local Level.
• For the upcoming events, students who are in public, private, or home schools cannot be in attendance at events at Herndon during the school day. Students at Herndon cannot be checked out to attend an event in which their sibling is involved. Herndon students who are checked out must leave campus immediately following their check out.

May 17 - 8th Grade Commencement and Celebration10 AM
May 18 – Last Day for Students and Slide Show
• Information about the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Camp for boys ages 9-12 is in the front office at Herndon. The camp will run from June 11-14, and the deadline to register is May 15, 2023.
