Hello Parents and Guardians of Herndon Magnet School Students, this is Tom Thomas, Principal of Herndon Magnet School with Herndon Highlights for the week of May 15, 2023.
• Happy Mother’s Day to all the Herndon Moms!
• I want to thank the students from North Caddo Magnet High School for all their hard work for the two field days and for AAGD. We could not have done these events without them. Thanks to the HMS PTSA, parent volunteers, NJHS, and Student Council for all their hard work and dedication to making these events a huge success.
• Tomorrow, May 15, is a street clothes day for all students at Herndon. Please follow the CPSB Dress Code Policy. Students who owe for temporary IDs must pay them in the morning. Middle school students must wear their permanent student ID.
• For the upcoming events this last week of school, students who are in public, private, or home schools cannot be in attendance at events at Herndon during the school day. Students at Herndon cannot be checked out to attend an event in which their sibling is involved. Herndon students who are checked out must leave campus immediately following their check out.

• Any Herndon boy that will be in middle school next year that is interested in playing football needs to sign up in the office.
• Since this will be the last official JCall of the 2022-2023 school year, I want to thank you for a great year and for entrusting Herndon Magnet with your child and/or children. I hope that everyone will have a safe and happy summer break!
