🥫🎉 A huge round of applause to everyone who made the 4-H Northwest Louisiana Food Bank can food drive a smashing success at YDMS! Together, we collected an astounding 2,000+ items, weighing in at 1,874 pounds of nourishment for those in need. A standing ovation to the sixth grade class for securing the coveted canned food drive grade level competition, and a special shoutout to Mrs. Harper's homeroom for championing the collection with the most cans. Big thanks to 4-H for sponsoring this impactful event. We exceeded our goal of 500 items by leaps and bounds! Today, under the guidance of Mr. Williams, our Young Men of Youree learned how to open doors, pull out chairs, and conduct themselves during a nice dinner. They also learned how to ask questions and create conversation with their dinner partner.
