We are always so excited to host this carnival and DO GOOD in our community. This year a portion of the carnival proceeds will be to support St. Judes. It will be held on October 26th from 3-5:30 here at Youree. The cost to attend is free but if your student wants to enjoy the activities at the carnival, there are a few options:
Option 1: Carnival T-shirt - cost is $28, gives access to all games, obstacle courses and prizes (food and haunted house are not included)
Deadline to order a shirt is Friday, September 22nd.
Option 2: Wristband - cost is $22, gives access to all games, obstacle courses and prizes (food and haunted house are not included)
Option 3: Tickets - cost $1/ticket, sold in increments of 5,10,20 and can be used for everything at the carnival.

YDMS Student Council proudly presents the "Get Your Game Face On" Back to School Dance, on Friday, September 29th, 2:30 - 4:30. The cost will be $12, including a Dress Down Day sponsored by the Beta Club and your wristband for the dance! Tickets can be purchased on Local Level! You will have until 2:30 on Wednesday 27th, to purchase! Make sure to wear your favorite sports jersey, t-shirt, or dress as your favorite athlete. You are not allowed to participate if you have major disciplinary infractions.

Objective: Identify which properties indicate that a substance has is the same or different?
Activity: Does the Size of A Substance affect Its Properties? Students measured the mass and the volume of different sizes of chalk. Then they calculated the densities of the pieces and determined that they were the same substance because their densities were the same.
