Youree Drive Middle School will host its annual Spartans Do Good Carnival! A portion of the proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Thursday, October 24, 2024 2:30pm - 4:30pm. There will be inflatables, games, food, prizes, and more! How can I participate? Option 1: $30 Includes carnival shirt and wristband (unlimited access to games & inflatables, except gaming truck); free dress with carnival shirt on day of event). Must be purchased by 10-4. Shirt is considered a uniform shirt and may be worn throughout the year. Option 2: $20 Includes wristband (unlimited access to games & inflatables, except gaming truck). Gaming Truck is excluded from shirt/wristband. It is 5 tickets to participate. Single Tickets are sold in denominations of $5, $10 and $20 (to be used for food and gaming truck. Tickets can also be used for activities if student did not purchase shirt or wristband). All options can be found on www.youreedrive.com under Local Level. No refunds. Students must not have broken the behavior contract and paid all fines/fees in order to attend.

Back to School Dance Announcement 🎉 We are thrilled that so many Spartans want to participate in school activities! As with all fun events, a great deal of planning and preparation happens behind the scenes. 📝 That's why we have a "cut-off time" to ensure everything is ready for these activities. ⏰ We advertised this dance on all of our social media accounts 📲 and website, posted announcements on Canvas, and included it in Ms. Edwards’s weekly JCampus messages. 📢 Plus, Ms. Edwards reminded everyone of the deadline every day in morning announcements! 🎙️ Students not participating in dance tomorrow should be in regular uniform attire. A Bittersweet Farewell Today, we say goodbye to our beloved Mrs. Harper, who has been an integral part of the Youree Drive family for the past 13 years. As she embarks on a new chapter at North Caddo High School to pursue her dream of becoming a counselor, we're filled with both sadness and excitement for her. Mrs. Harper has dedicated countless hours to guiding and supporting our students, helping them achieve their goals and reach their full potential. She will be greatly missed.
