Calling all Spartans! Get ready to unleash your school spirit!
YDMS Student Council is pumped to announce Spirit Week, April 8th - 12th, a week filled with awesome themes to show off your creativity and school pride! ️ Here's the epic line-up:
Monday (Mighty Monday):It's time to suit up! Dress like your favorite real-life hero – doctors, firefighters, teachers, scientists, environmental warriors – anyone who inspires you! Remember, heroes come in all shapes and sizes. Don't forget your cape (optional, but seriously cool)!
Tuesday ('Tis the Season):Feeling festive? Deck the halls by dressing up for your favorite holiday! Whether it's spooky Halloween vibes, dazzling Christmas cheer, or a summery luau look, anything goes! ☀️
Wednesday (Country vs. Country Club):Giddy-up or go posh! It's a battle of styles! Dust off your cowboy hats and boots for western wear, or channel your inner chic with preppy country club attire. Yeehaw or Yachting, the choice is yours!⛳️
Thursday (Throwback Thursday):Time travel, anyone? Dust off your old clothes or raid your parents' closet for a blast from the past! Rock a groovy 70s look, a neon 80s vibe, or channel your inner 90s grunge or hip hop. The decade is yours to choose!
Friday (Famous Friday):Ever wanted to walk in the shoes of your favorite celebrity? Here's your chance! Dress up as your idol, musician, athlete, or anyone you admire. Let your inner star shine! ⚽️
Get ready to participate in fun activities and contests and show off your amazing school spirit all week long! As always, no hoodies, crocs, leggings, rips above knee or PJs.
Let's make this the most epic Spirit Week ever! The Student Council can't wait to see your creativity!

2. **Color Scheme:** Use a maximum of two colors that complement each other.
3. **Design Size:** Ensure it fits on the front of a t-shirt - noticeable but not overwhelming.
4. **Judging Criteria:** Creativity, originality, and representation of our 8th-grade year.
5. **Voting:** Top 3 designs selected by judges will be voted on by the entire class.
6. **Due Date:** Submit designs to Ms. Saulsbury or Ms. Harper by Tuesday, March 19th.
