2025 Millage Renewals

Caddo Parish Public Schools is essential to the growth and success of our parish.

On Saturday, March 29, 2025, voters in Caddo Parish will decide whether to extend three existing millages. These millages support areas vital to the operations of schools. Funding from the millages addresses matters like:

  • Salaries and benefits for teachers and support staff

  • Maintenance and upkeep of district facilities

  • Classroom technology

  • Upgrades of and repair to heating and air conditioning at schools and sites

As a continuation of current millages, this proposal would not increase taxes. The average homeowner currently pays $26/month for these millages which provide for the overall operation of schools.

What Do These Millages Fund?

The three millages support:

  • Teacher and Staff Salaries – Supporting compensation to help retain educators and school personnel.

  • School Facilities & Maintenance – Funding to maintain, repair, and improve school buildings and infrastructure.

  • Student Programs & Technology – Providing academic resources, classroom technology, and extracurricular activities.

Key Points About the Renewals:

  • These are not new taxes but a continuation of existing funding sources.

  • The funds generated by these millages are designated for specific education-related expenses.

  • The outcome of the vote will determine continued funding for these areas.
