Caddo Parish Public Schools is proud to announce that voters have approved the renewal of three existing millages on the March 29 ballot, ensuring continued support for students, teachers and schools for the next 10 years — all without raising taxes.

These millages have long been a cornerstone of educational investment in Caddo, and their renewal ensures the district can continue providing high-quality learning environments, competitive compensation for teachers and staff and the tools students need to succeed.

“We are incredibly thankful to our community for once again showing its commitment to public education,” said Superintendent Keith Burton. “The passage of these millage renewals allows us to continue building on the progress we’ve made and to invest directly in the success of every child.”

The community’s support of the renewals comes as Caddo has celebrated both academical and fiscal accolades. The district recently rose to a ‘B’ rating by the Louisiana Department of Education, Caddo’s highest rating in history. Standard and Poor’s also upgraded the district’s financial outlook rating based on consistent and measurable progress in Caddo’s fiscal standing.

“This isn’t just about buildings or numbers — it’s about people,” Burton said. “Thanks to our voters, we’ve been able to invest in our students and educators in meaningful ways that change lives.”

Caddo Schools is committed to transparency and stewardship of public funds. The district will continue to share regular updates on how these renewed funds are being used to support student success across the system.
